Programme Options
Prospective participants can choose from the following three options
(Please note: Psychologists can enrol for either A or B, together with C)
To qualify for all 6 required ethics points, participants have a choice between
(i) option A or B, together with C; or (ii) option C (Industrial Psychology).
Option A: (Level 1: Small group discussions)
8 x 1½ hr lecture hall-based case presentations and discussions (12 CEUs)

OR
Option B: (Level 2: Professional interest group)
PowerPoint slides of the above sessions
(including supplementary materials and a summary of the questions
asked and answers given) will be available on the web as an alternative
for those psychologists who cannot physically attend the presentations.
A shortened video clip of the option A presentations will also be available online.
After studying the material, a questionnaire must be completed online.
A minimum pass rate of 70% is required to qualify for 1,5 CEUs per article.
Log-in codes will only be supplied to paid-up participants.
(12 CEUs).
AND/OR
Option C: (Level 2: Professional interest group)
- Dates on which articles and questionnaires will become available
for both disciplines of Option C: 15 and 30 April, 15 and 30 May, 15 and 30 June,
15 and 30 July, 15 and 30 August
- Option C: (General)
Ten contemporary journal articles on a variety of topics, such as
career counselling and development, psychotherapy, psychopathology, ethics,
learning disorders and disabilities, will be placed on the website with
questionnaires to be completed online.
A minimum pass rate of 70% is required to qualify for 3 CEUs per
article. Log-in codes will only be supplied to paid-up participants.
These articles are not focused on a specific registration category.
(30 CEUs)
- Option C: (Industrial Psychology)
Ten contemporary journal articles (including TWO on ethics),
limited to the broad field of industrial psychology, will be placed on the
website with questionnaires to be completed online.
A minimum pass rate of 70% is required to qualify for 3 CEUs per
questionnaire. Log-in codes will only be supplied to paid-up participants.
These articles are focused on a specific registration category namely
Industrial Psychology. (30 CEUs)
Thus, by combining the above options, participants may earn a total of 42 CEUs,
including the 6 required ethics options.
